  Using Cabinets N More was truly a disappointing experience. I started by picking the cabinet brand I wanted for our kitchen remodel. Then I did some searches to find a local Kitchen Store that carried that brand. There are tons of them out there and most came within the same price. I picked Cabinets N More because I thought I was going to get a superior customer service experience. In the beginning, things were good. Dan was very responsive and helpful. However, once paid in full, things started going downhill. Once the cabinets were ordered, there were several issues with the order. Some things were missing. Not a huge deal if handled promptly but they were not. It, on average, took me reaching out 6-7 times before I received 1 response. This added to the frustration already in place during a kitchen remodel. It was so bad, I had to buy $7,000 worth of tile from another store because I couldn’t trust them anymore. This is tile they carried. To make matters worse, the one thing my wife wanted as the center piece of the kitchen was a cast iron farmhouse sink. Dan said he knew exactly what she wanted and ordered. When we got home from work one day, the contractor brought us over and said something doesn’t look right with the sink, it wasn’t what I was expecting. And boy was it not. Now, Dan was only doing what he though was right and giving us what we wanted BUT the handling from this point on was not good. Again, it took 7-10 of my contacts to get one response from them and it was always, we are working on it. Finally, Dan said he would take the sink bank and provide a full refund of $850. I was on a time crunch at this point and had to overpay a little for the right sink from another vendor. I returned the sink to Dan. Weeks and months went by and I didn’t receive anything in the form of a refund. The remodel was completed in Jan 2017. I received a check for $403 in June. I called and asked what this was and the poor lady that answers the phone said she will find out. I called once a week and the girl just said “Sorry, I have no more news for you but the owners said it was a restocking fee” So, the owners do not have the customer service background to pick up the phone and tell me that? I have a text from Dan saying I would receive a FULL refund. They didn’t honor that. It took almost 6 months to get any type of refund. A 55% restocking fee? Really? I could have sold it on CL for more than that. Oh, I did I mention, even after numerous request, all my cabinets and parts that came in weeks later were sent to the wrong address? After spending $17,000 on cabinets, to have a company act like this for $400 is beyond me. There are a lot of good kitchen places out there that will see the project through and even come visit the home during different stages to make sure everything is good. They did not come out once to check on anything. I could not recommend Cabinets N More.
